Mileah earned her Master in Clinical Social Work from the University of Toronto and is in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). Mileah works with individuals, children, and families who are having difficulties coping with stress in their lives. Using a compassionate and non-judgemental approach, Mileah assists her clients to identify negative patterns and move towards clarity in their lives. Assisting her clients build self- awareness and confidence in her practice where clients feel positive and in charge of their own life.
With empathy, compassion, and a focus on mindfulness, Mileah is committed to building a collaborative and trusting relationship with her clients so they feel safe to share their experiences and move towards personal growth.
Through her own journey of learning and healing, Mileah has learned about gratitude, self-compassion and the power of connection, and has incorporated in her own daily life as well as her practice with clients. As an individual, child, and family therapist, having worked with a range of ages and challenges, she has learned that it is the power of compassion and connection that has the power to heal and enrich our lives.
