Individual Counselling

As a clinical therapist, I offer individual sessions with a range of ages from 5 years old and up. Depending on your concerns and challenges, you and I will develop a treatment plan together that may entail a particular therapeutic modality, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), or an amalgamation of various therapeutic modalities that will best suit your needs. Collaboration is a large part of my practice and I always encourage honesty when discussing your goals for counselling.

Hour and a half sessions or two hour sessions are also available upon request

Child, Youth and Adolescent Counselling

When working with children and youth, engagement is key to ensure positive outcomes. That is why I like to incorporate aspects of play, art and expressive art therapies in treatment with kids. With many challenges that children face in schools as well as outside of school, I also like to use mindfulness techniques that can assist in stress management and provide various coping strategies that are tailored to their personality and what works well for them.


Family Counselling

There may be times when more than one person in a family would like to come in for counselling in order to develop strategies on communication, clarity on a particular situation or even receive psychoeducation on a certain topic. As a Clinical Social Worker, I have a strong knowledge on the latest and most up-to-date evidence-based practices in the field of children’s mental health as well as positive parenting strategies that may be of benefit to you and your family.



Coaching is considered to be quite different than clinical counselling. The coaching process addresses personal projects, business successes, transitions in the client’s personal life, relationships, and profession by examining the various challenges and obstacles and choosing the best course of action. I believe that the client is the expert of his or her own life and it sometimes takes a different perspective to realize those goals and how to get there. As a coach, I help you discover what your own “best” might or could be, and I can assist you in a variety of areas you may want to work on:

  • Self-esteem and self-worth

  • Learning to balance goals and expectations

  • Self-care

  • Living your purpose

  • Managing grief, loss and change
